The SIG716 Patrol G2 takes the proven features of the SIG516 and applies them into a potent AR-based rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm. The Patrol G2 uses a short-stroke gas piston system to reduce chamber debris, allowing it to run cleaner and cooler. The stainless steel barrel is free-floated and has a black nitride finish. It has a rail-topped, aluminum keymod handguard, ambidextrous magazine release, and 6 position stock. This model has an FDE buttstock and pistol grip with an FDE Cerakote finish on the receiver and handguard.
