Description
The Prodigy Compact from Springfield Armory takes the proven 1911 platform and enhances it with double-stack capacity and a carry-focused feature set. Available with a 3.5″ or 4.25″ bull barrel, this versatile handgun is built around a 15-round double-stack magazine and features a compact polymer grip module mounted to a lightweight aluminium frame. A shortened beavertail and recontoured hammer further reduce the overall footprint. Optics-ready with a tritium front sight and Picatinny rail, the Prodigy Compact blends the most beloved characteristics of the 1911 with modern capacity for EDC.
